Casper Ruud’s Tennis Racquet

The Norwegian tennis talent Casper Ruud is starting to establish himself as a top player on the ATP Tour. Ruud has always been a good clay court player, but he has recently found a way to translate his game to other surfaces as well.
Casper hasn’t had his real breakthrough yet at the biggest tournaments, but that will happen sooner or later.
With all the success on the court, many ask, what racquet he uses to compete at the highest level. That’s what I will go through in this post.
What tennis racquet does Casper Ruud use? Casper Ruud currently plays with the Yonex EZONE 100. He strings his racquet with Yonex Poly Tour Pro in the mains and Yonex Poly Tour Spin in the crosses. Casper has used this racquet setup for quite some time now and doesn’t seem to be changing it in the near future.
Casper Ruud Racquet Specs
There are no reliable sources that have revealed how Casper Ruud has customized his racquet, however, I would assume that he has added some lead in the hoop to increase the weight of the otherwise lightweight EZONE 100. Here are the original specifications for Casper Ruud’s racquet, the Yonex EZONE 100.
- Head Size: 100 sq. in
- Length: 27.5 in
- Weight (strung): 11.2 oz / 317.5g
- Balance: 3pts HL
- Flex: 70

Can You Buy Ruud’s Racquet?
I would recommend Casper Ruud’s racquet, the Yonex EZONE 100 to everyone that plays tennis on a somewhat competitive level and is looking for a control-oriented racquet with a lot of spin potential. However, Yonex isn’t a brand that is available everywhere like the Wilson and Head racquets. But, there are still many different stores online that sell the Yonex EZONE 100.
The price differs a lot depending on where you choose to buy it from, but as I’m writing this, I found the cheapest price on Amazon. Take a look at the current price and compare, because the prices are constantly changing.
