The most controversial tennis player in the world named Nick Kyrgios will go down in history as one of the most talented players of all time. Even though Kyrgios doesn’t take tennis as seriously as his competitors, he is one of the few players that can compete against the big 3 (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic).
Either you love or hate Nick Kyrgios, there is no in-between. I personally think he is great for the sport. Rather a player that shows all his emotions than someone that doesn’t show anything at all, that would be boring to watch.

The Nike Air Vapor X Kyrie V tennis shoe is a collaboration between Nike tennis and Nike basketball. It was inspired by Nick Kyrgios’s favorite basketball player, the Australian Kyrie Irving. It’s based on the regular Nike Air Zoom Vapor X, with some slight modifications that I will go through here.
It’s not like they took the regular Vapor X and painted it as they wanted, the feel of the Kyrie V and the regular version is quite different. First, it’s much heavier. The regular Vapor X is extremely lightweight, so it doesn’t mean that the Kyrie V is heavy by any means. They are not heavy, but at the same time not light either, somewhere in between. The regular Vapor X is 11.5 ounces, while the Kyrie V is 14 ounces, so a pretty marginal difference in weight.
The added weight makes the Kyrie V more stable and supportive, matching up Kyrgios aggressive play style more than the regular version of the Vapor X. Kyrgios’ shoes offers exceptional traction with a new innovative outsole that is ideal for all aggressive movers. Also, there is no denying that Kyrgios shoes have one of the cleanest designs on the market right now (if you ask me).
I would recommend the Kyrgios shoes to everyone who likes the regular Vapor X, but would like them to be a little bit more stable and supportive. Kyrgios shoes compared to the regular Vapor X in a few words conclusion; Heavier, more stable, supportive, and better looking.
